HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
A lot of things have changed over the past year and so have I. People have told me that I walk taller and carry myself with a sense of pride and tact. There was a profound change, but it was all for the better. I just got done reading all my posts going back a year trying to figure out what I should mention to sum up the last year. I realized I can't sum it up because you can't sum up a person. This blog is just a facet of myself; all the thoughts and feeling that I can express to the world or that I want know. Reading through I can see what I excluded; all the doubt, worry, hate, loss, and passion. It really got me thinking can people see me for who I am through this journal. I think the best thing to do is to show you all who I am, not what I have done. Because the man is more important than medals, titles, glory, and rumor. Know me for me and not what I have done. But what we do makes up who we are...OMG I"M CONFUSED!!! I'M GOING IN CIRCLES!!!!
All I really want to do is post some pictures from across the year and maybe I can show you who I am (Even though I can't locate them). Because to know a man, a friend, or kin you must know what they do. "You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation." ~Plato~ I was going to show many facets, but I believe this one shows whom I am the best...
Enjoy this coming year and remember who you are and where you come from. Don't settle for last place and always strive to be better. Always hold God and Christ close and keep your eyes and ears open. The New Year is a time of rebirth; a time to start a new and a time to start over. Drive forward and remember...

K, so you look a lot different in that picture compared to when I met you. Maybe it was cuz you had your hair cut really short compared to longer in the picture... I dunno
I think it's hard to figure out how a person is thru a journal like this because it's completely based on how the reader is intrepreting the things he/she is reading. And also it's hard for the person writing the journal to get out exactly what he/she is feeling & trying to express. I know that's hard for me anyway.
but this got really long & really pointless, so i'll leave it at that. Have a great 2006 & if you're ever in ND sometime soon give me a call, k!
Deep man, real deep. I don't think blogs are meant for the purpose you're talking about. Well, at least to me my blog is just a place to put all my stupid ramblings, and believe you me, they're very stupid. It's good to know you still hold your faith too. I hope you have fun in your next year, and I can't wait to hear all your Afghanistan stories!
