It's about time I posted but I have been putting it off for no real reason. Last Weekend was the highlight of my leave because of the Static X concert in Fargo. All I can really say is WOW!!!!!!! All the bands Opiate for the Masses, Ill Nino, and Static X were great performers. Nothing really says I love Rock like a grunting mosh pit full of swetty shirtless men and those few crazy balsy punk/goth chicks just having a throwdown on a concrete floor to the strum of a angered inspired riff. That's right I was a shirtless hethen and I ate the concrete a few too many times. But I look at the bright side besides the numerous cuts, scratches, bruises, and inability to move my shoulder: I still have all my teeth; unleashing 5 months of emotion bottled up under the hawkish eyes of the drill sergeant; and BATTLE SCARS!!!. I was really surprised about a few things when I was moshing; there is like a silent code of conduct to the pit or is it just our instinct to help one in need? When you fall people help you up and then throw you back into the Mosh Pit...It's great. Thanks Justine and some goth chick for throwing the bastards off of when i face planted it...You saved my life!!!! I will always remember that night and the fact when we left the steam that rows off us all when we stepped into the cold Dakota air...you would have thought you were in a sana. And the 3 hours afterwards just chilling, BSing, and trying to finish off my still. I wish I had photos but I don't have a digital carmera...
On Sunday I saw a strange movie involving Spelling Bees and Jewish Mysticism called Bee Season. Well maybe the plot would explain why we were to only two there...it was a great time. Despite how it sounds the movie actually made sense in a way that can't be expressed in words, but only in the feelings of human understanding and reason (If that made sense wait until you see my thesis on, "The Real Matrix: THE MOVIES WERE TRUE!!!!)
Those are pretty much the important details of what has happened thus far. I have been thinking alot lately and this question came up, "What is Best in Life??" Or a question I stole from another xanga..."What is the best gift you can ever recieve??" I really don't know what is best...is it a family with a big house, a white picket fence, and a dog named Fido...The American Dream right?? Idk but given my experience with livestock and outdoors I wouldn't mind having my own ranch or just a piece of wilderness I can call my own...The best gift maybe something that you know I would like and you surprise me with it...example my ipod...it plays videos...Now where do I get media in the right format?? Leave me some love, comments, and whatever BS you want...Cya Kyle...
PS Damn that was a long post...I leave on Saturday for New York for how long idk if you want to hang out call me 218-230-4709

Hey Kyle. Well I feel special, im the first one to comment. Sounds like that concert was awesome. For your question "whats best in life" I'd have to say its all the moments that you can't put into words... moments in your life were you can just look back, and smile thinking about it.

The best things in life definitely aren't material, that's for sure. Think about it...whatever a person has or owns, they can only have it for a little while. Everything is someday going to be out of style, and there will always be the next bigger and better thing. Alot of times, the American Dream seems to be focused on having more "stuff" and better "stuff" than someone else. But that really isn't what life is about, I don't think.
hey - thank goodness, Andrew cut the mullet off! haha but ya that pic does look like isaac, don't it? JKJK

Sooooooooooooooooooo I heard that you were going to grace our wing w/ your presence tonight since you are leaving in like 2 days, well, now technically, tomorrow. And since you never called anyone... we all hate you. jk... i think.....
Umm... ya... i haven't known you that long but you're pretty cool, so I spose I'll miss you when you leave. You should really come visit us all tomorrow... if you have time and all.
But if not... it was great getting to know you... good luck over in New York... be safe if you get sent over seas, and if you ever come back home... you should give me a call (you have my number, right?!?!)
